The company has seen very rapid growth over the last few years as more and more people adopt this stylish shade solution rather than the more traditional parasols and awnings. They have just launched two new sites to cover these regions: http://voiledombrage.net for France (voile d’ombrage being French for sail shade) and http://sonnensegeldirekt.com for Germany (sonnensegel direkt translates as sun sail direct). This is in addition to the US corporate site at http://shadesailsdirect.com The technology used in the shade sails consists of a special shade fabric that is constructed from high density polyethylene with a mono-filament. The shade sails are currently available in five standard sizes and four colours, but the company has recently introduced a custom range of shade sails that can be made exactly to the specifications provided by the customer.

New product introductions are planned which will include fire resistant materials and waterproof shade sails.
